Careers

Three trades, one ground: keeping buildings safe.

We are looking for technicians who value work done properly and direct contact with the client. The sites are in Belgium, and the clients range from the corner shop to the industrial plant.

  • Extinguisher technician

    • Full time · terms to be agreed
    • Belgium · daily travel

The periodic inspection of extinguishers at our clients’ sites, from a corner shop to an industrial hall.

    The role

    • Periodic inspection and servicing of portable extinguishers, under NBN S 21-050
    • Replacing worn parts, refills, withdrawing non-compliant equipment
    • Writing the visit report and keeping the safety register current
    • Advising the client on site: placement, signage, missing equipment

    What we look for

    • Category B licence — the round is driven in a company van
    • Precision: what the report says binds the client and us alike
    • Comfortable with people: you are often the only face of the company
    • NBN S 21-050 is learned here if you do not know it yet

The hose reel is a separate trade. It falls under a different standard — the EN 671 series, EN 671-1 for the equipment and EN 671-3 for its maintenance — and fitting a new reel calls for a plumber’s hand. Inspecting one, on the other hand, is learned after training: several of our extinguisher technicians do it.

  • Electrician

    • Full time · terms to be agreed
    • Belgium · sites and buildings in use

Installing detection systems: cabling, devices, terminations — often in buildings that keep running throughout.

    The role

    • Pulling cable and fitting detectors, call points and sounders
    • Terminations in the cabinet and at the control panel
    • Working in occupied sites, at night or on shifted hours depending on the job
    • Taking over existing systems, any manufacturer

    What we look for

    • Training or experience in building electrical work
    • Category B licence
    • A VCA / LSC certificate is a plus
    • Careful work: a badly labelled cable is paid for years later
  • Fire panel technician

    • Full time · terms to be agreed
    • Belgium · commissioning and fault finding

The brain of the system: configuration, commissioning, fault finding and interfaces.

    The role

    • Configuring and commissioning fire detection panels
    • Testing and handover with the client and, where relevant, the emergency zone
    • Interfaces: smoke extraction, fire doors, lifts, alarm transmission
    • Fault finding and maintenance visits under NBN S 21-100-2

    What we look for

    • Experience in fire detection, extra-low voltage or control systems
    • Self-reliance: you are often alone with a system that will not say where the fault is
    • Category B licence
    • French or Dutch; the other is learned on site
