Maintenance and periodic inspection

Never prepare for an inspection in a panic again.

Compliance is not a state, it is upkeep. Our contracts cover periodic inspections, keeping the safety register current, and repairs — including on systems we did not install.

What we install

The detail, not the brochure.

Every line below is a work package we deliver ourselves, with our own engineers and our own equipment.

  • Periodic inspections

Frequency per NBN S 21-100-2: functional tests, sampled detector testing, verification of standby power supplies and of the interfaces.

  • Safety register upkeep

Every visit is recorded the same day, with the reports attached. It is the first document the emergency zone asks for, and it is always to hand.

  • Guaranteed repair response

Within 4 h in Brussels and Brabant, within 8 h elsewhere in the country. Technical standby 24/7 including weekends and public holidays, with an engineer who knows your site.

  • Takeover of third-party systems

All manufacturers. A condition survey draws a clear line between what can be kept as it stands and what has to be replaced, with the cost of each option.

  • Support during inspection

We prepare the file, and an engineer attends on the day to answer technical questions and resolve points on the spot.

  • Fault analysis

An annual report identifies the devices that trigger most often. Removing the cause costs less than sending an engineer out every month.

Regulatory framework

The rules that actually apply to you.

We cite the references rather than asking you to take our word for it. You can check them — that is the point.

  • NBN S 21-100-2Maintenance and inspection of the systemSets the content and frequency of maintenance and the competence required of those performing it. The standard distinguishes routine servicing from the thorough annual inspection.
  • Code on Well-being at WorkInspection by an external serviceBook III Title 3 requires fire protection equipment to be inspected periodically and the evidence of those inspections to be kept and produced on request.
  • Safety registerA document that can be held against youIts absence alone is enough to draw a finding during an inspection, even if the system works perfectly. It records visits, tests, faults and the action taken on them.
  • Emergency zoneOpinions and inspection visitsThe territorially competent fire service (zone de secours / hulpverleningszone) issues a prior opinion on projects and can inspect buildings in use. Its findings must be cleared within a deadline it sets.

For which buildings

Very different constraints depending on the type of site.

  • Multi-site estates

One framework contract, one contact, one set of reporting.

  • 24/7 sites

    Healthcare, data centres, continuous-process industry.

  • Buildings in use

    Out-of-hours work, outside public opening.

  • Inherited systems

All manufacturers, even without the original drawings.
